Dr Katalin Hajdu

Experience
Dr Katalin Hajdu has over 9 years of academic and clinical experience in the field of psychology, having worked in a variety of private and NHS mental health services. She is passionate about working with people holistically, focusing not only on the individual but also their context to promote a proactive approach to responding to mental health difficulties using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches. She believes that as a society we need to talk more about mental health to remove the stigma and normalise talking about the struggles that come with being a human in this day and age.
Dr Hajdu has experience working with children, young people and adults as well as families in physical and mental health services. She draws on various therapeutic modalities such as Systemic Family Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She has also worked with people with a variety of mental health difficulties including low mood, anxiety, OCD, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, and chronic health conditions.
Furthermore, Dr Hajdu has experience in conducting cognitive assessments and rehabilitation as well as a special interest in working with people with neurodiversity. In addition to individual work, Dr Hajdu has experience facilitating group sessions and workshops in NHS as well as corporate services.
Dr Hajdu’s dissertation focused on the social media experiences of young adults who have self-harmed. She is passionate about supporting people of all ages to be mindful of their 'digital hygiene' and find ways to support a healthier approach to online activities.
Outside of her work with Mollart CBT Ltd., Dr Hajdu works in an NHS paediatric service and a startup focusing on providing mental health support in the corporate sector.
Qualifications
Dr Hajdu has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, in addition to a Level 2 qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
She is registered with HCPC as a Clinical Psychologist.
