During CBT therapy Katie will help you understand the unhelpful patterns that are keeping your problem going. You will agree goals for your therapy together and work towards making changes in your thinking and behaviours.

Outside of her work for Mollart CBT she holds a senior management position within the NHS as a Highly Specialist CBT Therapist.

Katie is also an accredited Interpersonal Psychotherapist (IPT). IPT looks at the role of relationships in the maintenance of depression. Therapy can focus on changes in relationships, arguments, bereavements and isolation, with an aim to improve the quality of your relationships and in turn improve your mood.

Katie is particularly passionate about working with clients during the Peri-natal period, as this can have such a huge impact on the mental health of both parents.

For the last 8 years Katie has worked extensively with clients that have Autism, collaborating with the charity sector to provide talking therapy and educational workshops for adults with Neurodiversity.

Qualifications
