Dr Yousefzadeh has expertise in supporting those who are experiencing emotional difficulties who have received a diagnosis of ADHD or ASD or those who relate to neurodiverse traits, children facing difficulties at home or school due to behaviour that challenges and those who experience difficulties that are commonly diagnosed as personality disorder.

She passionately draws upon the Trauma Informed Approach to consider someone’s previous experiences and their context when understanding their current difficulties. In 2021, she set up and implemented a Trauma Informed framework across the homelessness services (across NHS, third sector and social care services) within a borough of North London.

Dr Yousefzadeh aims to bring together the expertise you hold about your own experiences with her clinical skills of various psychological theories and evidence-based therapy models. This will allow a shared understanding of your difficulties and therefore, establish the most appropriate intervention to support you.

Dr Yousefzadeh draws upon a range of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Systemic Therapy to support those she works with. You can expect her to adapt her approach according to your needs, considering any physical health or neurodiverse needs.

Alongside her work with Mollart CBT Ltd. Dr Yousefzadeh works in an NHS mental health inpatient service. Within this role Dr Yousefzadeh has established a Trauma Informed Approach across the ward to work therapeutically with individuals with complex mental health needs, whilst also offering training and consultation to the wider ward team to elevate the care received during an admission.
